Miss you, Puerto RIco!

Around three months ago, we left Puerto Rico to move to DC/Virginia. Reason was my desire to explore more, contribute at a larger platform, and most importantly provide opportunities for my son and I to learn new things.

I knew I was going to miss the island but I also knew many Puerto Rican had embarked upon a similar journey. I thought it would be easier for me because I was not even born here. Three months later, I am not sure if I miss the island any less than other Puerto Rican. Now I miss both India and Puerto Rico. If India gave me birth, Puerto Rico gave me the wings to fly!

The sandy shores of Puerto Rico gave me the space to dive deeper in the sea of life and explore profound thoughts and transform them into pearls of words…

De Las Tetas a Piñones

In Puerto Rico, a simple family outing is a traveller's dream come true… In matter of an hour, you can go from the top of a mountain in the 'Cordillera de Cayey' to the sun set by the sea shore in 'Piñones' near the airport in San Juan…

In Puerto Rico, our seniors are very much part of  fun and frolic!
